It doesn’t get much bigger in the pop world than Niall Horan! When he was in Sydney for his first solo Australian promo tour, the former One Direction superstar stopped by the [V] Hits studio for a special acoustic version of “Slow Hands”.
Slow Hands, co-written by Niall and produced by Julian Bunetta is a nod to the early 80’s music that has influenced Niall’s music in recent times. Niall is currently working on his debut album, due for release later this year- we can’t wait!
Horan told Entertainment Weekly that his upcoming new album was inspired by classic rock acts, including Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles, “Whenever I would pick up a guitar, I would always naturally play chords like that, and finger pick a lot and play that folky kind of style.”
He also described the album as having a “folk-with-pop feel to it.”
Nial also hosted Tweet The Beat (Friday 7th July) and chatted about his love for Australia:
